ASVA is committed to raising the profile of summer villages. It is important that political parties understand our value as an organization and as individual municipalities in Alberta.

- to be treated fairly and equally to all other municipalities in the distribution of MSI funding. (Presently we only receive 50% of what other municipalities receive.)
- better policing in summer villages - with crime rates drastically increasing, we want more support and coverage in our summer villages
